A speeding operation was conducted in Cuffley by the Safer Neighbourhood Team last week.
On Friday, February 3, officers took to The Ridgeway with the speed indication device following concerns from the public about drivers going too fast on the road.
The operation resulted in five drivers being given words of advice about their speed.
PC Anne Lopez, who took part in the operation, said: “Thankfully we did not have to give out any speeding tickets on this occasion and I would like to thank all those drivers who do stick to the limit.

“We’re committed to making sure our roads are safe and operations like this help to deter drivers from speeding. They are also a good opportunity for us to educate drivers around the dangers of speeding.
"When we pull someone over for a chat about their driving, we are potentially stopping an accident from happening in the future.”
