An 11-year-old dancer from Hatfield was picked out of thousands of children to appear in the new Matilda the Musical movie.
Michelle Bryant has attended FK Dance Academy since she was six, and auditioned for the film as a dancer during the pandemic.
This was Michelle's first-ever audition, and she was "thrilled" to be told she was going to appear in the film - which is currently in cinemas and will be appearing on Netflix later this year.
Kerry Newell, Michelle's dance teacher and agent, said: "I am extremely proud of Michelle.
"She is a very gifted dancer and performer and was professional throughout, still coming to train at FK Dance Academy during her time off and juggling her school work over the eight months of filming."
Michelle has also gone on to appear in a Pokémon commercial, and recently modelled for the New British Gymnastics dance wear with her sister Vanessa.
FK Dance Academy had a very successful 2022, with students performing on the main stage at 'Move It' in London, various Dance Mania shows in Hertfordshire and several students in upcoming productions.
Kerry said: "I am immensely proud of all my students and they have all worked so hard, so I am so pleased to see their hard work paying off."
FK Dance Academy offers various styles of dance and drama, taught by industry professionals.
