A man has been arrested after reports of a common assault in Welwyn Garden City on Saturday afternoon.
At around 2.15pm on Saturday, January 14, an altercation took place between a man and a woman in and around the car park of B&Q and Norton Gym in Swallowfields.
No injuries were sustained, but a 26-year-old man was arrested and later released on police bail while enquiries continue.

"I’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident and who has not already spoken with police," said investigator Bridget Leadbetter.
"We believe members of the public may have filmed some of the incident, those who did may be able to assist with the investigation.
