Do your children like colouring outside the line? Give your neurodiverse child a chance to express themselves through graffiti style artwork in Welwyn Garden City.

Children over the age of eight will be able to use spray paints and other tools to share their creativity at a SPACE Hertfordshire event, which will take place on Saturday, February 25, from 10.30am to 12pm at the Woodhall Community Centre.

SPACE Hertfordshire is a charity that supports families with neurodiverse children and young people, as well as those who are autistic and/or have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or other related conditions.

An instructor will be available on the day to lend a hand, share ideas and guide the children.

Children between the ages of eight and 10 will require direct parent/carer support throughout the activity due to the dexterity and strength needed to manage the spray cans.

SPACE said: “We run bespoke social events for parent/carers and children/young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities, siblings and families.

“We know how difficult it can be to access activities and events and the impact this can have on the family unit.”

The charity also offers multiple monthly support groups all over the county, to create a friendly and informal way of meeting other parents/carers in a relaxed, safe environment.
