A Ukrainian Christmas Carol Party is set to take place in Welwyn Garden City this December.

The traditional dinner and party will take place on Saturday, December 17, at the Focolare Centre at 69 Parkway and will be from 1pm to 5pm.

From a traditional Ukrainian Christmas dinner to carol singing, art, craft workshop and more, the event is welcome to all who wish to celebrate the festivities while learning more about Ukranian heritage.

Councillor Michal Siewniak and Ukrainian journalist Daria Diak organised the party to give the Ukrainian community a sense of togetherness within Welwyn Hatfield.

Michal said: "I am delighted that the Ukrainian Christmas event will be taking place in Welwyn Garden City at the Focolare Centre on Saturday, December 17. I am really pleased that a small pot of funding was identified to deliver this activity for residents and members of the Ukrainian community.Welwyn Hatfield Times: Ukrainian Christmas Carol Party to take place in Focolare Centre in WGC.Ukrainian Christmas Carol Party to take place in Focolare Centre in WGC.
