A woman was taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash in Hatfield on Tuesday morning.
Police were called at 8.45am to reports of a collision on the A414 Hertford Road, with fire and ambulance crews also attending the crash.
The incident occurred between Oldings Corner and junction 4 for the A1(M), and led to delays of around two hours in both directions.
A woman was taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further assessment.
“Police were called at around 8.45am on Tuesday, November 22, following a road traffic collision on the A414 Hertford Road in Hatfield. It was reported that up to four vehicles were involved,” said a police spokesperson.
An ambulance service spokesperson added: “One ambulance was sent to Great North Road A414 Hatfield on Tuesday morning following reports of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision. One woman was transported to Lister Hospital for further assessment and care.”
