Grant Shapps has yet another new job after the Welwyn Hatfield MP was named business minister by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Following a six-day spell as home secretary - after being appointed by ex-PM Liz Truss last Wednesday - Mr Shapps took up his latest ministerial post on Tuesday.
The appointment comes after the MP backed Mr Sunak in both leadership races and was openly critical of Ms Truss' leadership during her 44 days in office, making her the shortest-serving prime minister in UK history.
Mr Shapps has also previously served as transport secretary and chair of the Conservative party.
In a short tweet about his new role, Mr Shapps said: "Delighted to become Business Secretary in the Rishi Sunak adminstration with business, energy and industrial strategy to look after."
Mr Shapps has been contacted for further comment, and the Welwyn Hatfield Times is awaiting a response.
