Hatfield Rise is proving the place to be after developer Lovell Homes launched an exclusive collection of three-bedroom townhouses.
With a large terrace area with space to relax and entertain, each house also features an open plan kitchen diner, integrated appliances and good storage, as well as beautiful views of the surrounding neighbourhood.
Starting from £495,000, the show home opening takes place on Saturday, October 22
But, the homes in South Hatfield, part of the wider redevelopment of the High View area just off Bishop's Rise, are selling fast, with 40 per cent already sold off plan.
“There are very few new build homes in the area so buyers are expected to be local as well as from north London and St Albans because they are discovering they can get a lot more for their money,” said Simon Ginsburg, head of sales at Lovell Homes.
“Five ‘early bird’ buyers have already reserved off plan so now is the time to request a brochure, and book a viewing to see why they represent great value for money.
“We are receiving excellent interest from second steppers and families who are looking for modern living, great location coupled with the energy saving benefits of a new build.”
The new townhouses are part of a four-year plan for Hatfield Rise, which will see Lovell, in partnership with Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, deliver a range of housing, including one and two-bedroom contemporary apartments from £335,500.
With just seven townhouses left to sell at the £45m development, Simon was quick to urge potential buyers to book a viewing.
“Hatfield Rise has everything a buyer could want,” he said.
“It’s close to the train station, university and with a wide range of shops literally on the doorstep.
“The other big benefit is that buyers will be ablet to move into their homes for Christmas.
“We only have seven left to sell so our message is book a viewing of the show home now to avoid disappointment.”
