Sports Direct in the Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City, has today announced that it is closing down.
The store is displaying posters in its windows today, saying ‘closing down’ and ‘all stock reduced’.
Shortly before Christmas the store relocated from its base on the first floor next to Marks and Spencers to its current ground floor premises to make way for a large new fashion store.
H&M has announced it will be opening a store in the Howard Centre in March.
