A Hatfield man who survived a terrifying unprovoked assault with a carving knife told his assailant in court how he had feared he was about to die.
Eugene Bruce, 45, of Greville Close, Welham Green, was jailed for eight years at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday, July 6, after pleading guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
