A BEHIND-THE-SCENES film of Ed Sheeran’s latest video – starring Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint and filmed at the Forum Hertfordshire in Hatfield – has been released.
Sheeran’s new single Lego House, released last month, featured the Kimpton actor - who starred as Harry Potter's side kick Ron Weasley in the hit films - as a creepy stalker following the fellow red-haired singer backstage at one of his gigs.
That gig happened to be Sheeran's October 8 appearance at The Forum Hertfordshire - and the University of Hertfordshire can clearly be seen throughout much of the video.
Now footage of Sheeran and Grint backstage at the venue during the shooting of the promo has been released on Sheeran's YouTube channel.
The Forum Hertfordshire's commercial director Max Ross said: "The first half of the video was filmed during his October 8 appearance at the Forum Hertfordshire, and various areas around the venue, including the Auditorium and stage where Ed and Rupert performed, our backstage areas and even our service yard are featured quite heavily.
Additionally, a number of UH students, who were in the audience for the performance, were filmed as well.
"We are thrilled to have our venue appear in the video. Ed Sheeran, Rupert Grint and the team were great to work with on the day and we couldn't be happier with how the video turned out."
