A political comedian brings his latest show to St Albans next week.
Impressionist, comedy writer and radio presenter Matt Forde will be appearing at The Alban Arena on Wednesday, October 18.
In the aptly titled A Show Hastily Rewritten In Light Of Recent Events – Again!, the UK’s leading political comedian and host of Unspun on TV channel Dave presents a show completely changed by current political events which haven’t yet happened.
Matt is one of the country’s most in-demand satirists, having appeared on The Royal Variety Performance (ITV), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Rory Bremner’s Coalition Report and Election Report (both BBC Two), 8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Question Time (BBC One), This Week (BBC One) and Jon Richardson Grows Up (C4).
Following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival’s prestigious Cabaret Bar, and a nationwide tour of Matt’s It’s My Political Party (and I’ll Cry if I Want To) show, he brings his hilarious, expert take on politics to audiences in St Albans.
During his Edinburgh run, The Telegraph describe him as “possibly the best political comedy show on the Fringe”.
Tickets for his ultra-topical Alban Arena date cost £15 and the show starts at 8pm.
