The much-anticipated Hatfield Community Fair is set to return for its third year.

This community event offers an opportunity for visitors to connect with over 35 diverse organisations, charities and community groups, providing a wide range of support services.

Some of the participating groups include:

  • Communities’ 1st
  • Hertfordshire Health Walks
  • Citizens Advice Welwyn Hatfield
  • Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s Healthy Hub
  • Stagecoach
  • Resolve
  • Herts Dance
  • Better Gyms & Leisure
  • Willow Foundation
  • Herts Young Homeless

The fair aims to showcase how groups are working for stronger, more resilient neighbourhoods – and how people can get involved should they wish to.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the stalls, seek advice and even sign up to different groups and services.

Children can enjoy free activities such as rock-climbing, BMX pump tracks and face painting.

Additionally, there will be live entertainment, including musical performances and sing-a-longs from Electric Umbrella.

Councillor Jane Quinton, executive member, leisure and community, said: “This year’s fair has something for everyone.

"From stalls offering valuable support to fun entertainment, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with the many services available, whilst enjoying a great day out. Do come along and see what’s on offer for all the family.”

The fair will take place at White Lion Square on Tuesday, August 13, from 11am to 3pm.
